Our process differs significantly from the conventional methods of creating clothing and fashion collections. Typically, making garments from scratch requires a good pattern, fabric, and you’re ready to cut and sew the pieces together. However, our approach demands much more time and effort. We start by sourcing existing clothing, usually from thrift stores or online platforms. Once we’ve collected enough garments, the first step is photographing each item to document how it looked before the transformation. Then comes our favorite part— the deconstructing.

Many designers and creators we see online simply cut along the seams, but we prefer a different approach. We believe this method often removes some of the most beautiful details of a garment, especially with denim pieces, which are our favorite to work with. Unique washes and hidden details in the seams or beneath the pockets are essential elements in the final upcycled product, reflecting the essence of most of our designs.
