People on Earth is a studio for sustainable fashion, upcycling, and redesign. We primarily work with textile waste materials, transforming them into unique clothing pieces that proudly showcase their origins. Examples include vests or corsets made from denim jeans with original pockets and loops, kimonos, blazers, or trousers crafted from IKEA curtains complete with their original tags, or hats made from carpets sourced from Incheba.
In our process, we use natural fabric dyeing techniques with materials like rust, onion skins, turmeric, shiitake mushrooms, elderberries, and more.
We also host creative workshops called "Zasivaren", focused on hands-on activities requiring needle and thread. These include repairing and redesigning personal clothing, embroidery, macrame, darning, and similar crafts.
