Preľude is a Slovak womens clothing brand, founded in 2018 by Doroti Vojtková. Traditional culture is a prelude to the brand. We admire women who are proud of their roots and are not afraid to present the heritage in a modern and playful form. The Preľude collections, which focus on craftsmanship, love of traditions and responsible production, show a modern and elegant wardrobe with respect for nature and crafts.
All products are manufactured locally and ethically in Slovakia.
We choose materials that are sustainable or have a low impact on the environment, we mostly work with linen. The pattern constructions are based on the traditional costumes, thanks to which we minimize the textile waste that is normally generated during cutting.
We use stylized folk embroidery from different regions, thus supporting the maintenance of tradition and aesthetic cultural values, while thanks to these elements, Preľude is easily distinguishable and original. We produce a large part of the collection only to order and so only the required amount of clothing is produced.
Preľude represents a conscious luxury inspired by history, folk clothing and innovation.
