About Us
Sustainability, biodegradability, and honesty represent the core values at Truefala. We are committed to ethical principles and transparency in every aspect of our production process.
Ethical Values
We are honest about the entire production process, the quality, and the sourcing of our fabrics and other components. Our clothing is ethically made in Slovakia by Slovak women who are fairly compensated for their work.
Timeless Design
We are passionate about minimizing the negative impact of fast fashion on the environment. Truefala combats fast fashion by offering stylish, high-quality, and long-lasting clothing. Our designs are minimalist and timeless, making them a perfect addition to a capsule wardrobe.
What Our Clothing is Made Of
Sustainable Fabric
We use biodegradable polyamide 6.6, derived from petroleum and formulated with additives that enhance biodegradability, known as Amni Soul Eco®. This technology preserves the durability and quality of the clothing while ensuring that decomposition begins only when the garment reaches a landfill or soil. In an anaerobic (oxygen-free) environment, naturally occurring microorganisms break down the fibers. Unlike other synthetic fibers that take decades to decompose, Amni Soul Eco® takes approximately five years to fully break down, significantly reducing environmental impact.
This cutting-edge technology is part of a new generation of sustainable yarns, produced through an eco-friendly process that includes water recycling and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Before being released, these emissions are treated to protect the ozone layer and preserve nature.
Sustainable Threads
We use Celofil® threads, made from 100% cellulose wood pulp. These threads are designed for use in all types of post-dyed garments, offering an excellent alternative to 100% cotton. Celofil® behaves similarly to cotton in dyeing but provides superior durability and elasticity, making it ideal for garments with elastane and lycra. It performs exceptionally well in heavily washed and finished clothing, such as denim, where resilience is crucial.
Additionally, Celofil® threads are completely biodegradable and environmentally friendly. They are made from 100% Tencel™ Lyocell, which has certified biodegradability from TÜV Austria.
Sustainable Elastic
We use Organic elastic, composed of 65% organic cotton and 35% natural rubber. The natural rubber decomposes in soil within 16 weeks, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
At Truefala, we are committed to providing sustainable, high-quality fashion that respects both people and the planet.
